The Coastal Express Limited is a weekday only commuter bus service funded by two freeway construction projects that offers reduced trip times between the Ventura County Government Center and Santa Barbara/Goleta. The Limited does not operate on holidays. The Limited features charter-style over the road coaches, a single park and ride location in Ventura, and offers free wireless web access to customers. In the morning there are two trips to Goleta and two to Santa Barbara. See the full schedule below for details or call 883-4276 for more information.

How and where to buy a pass
Coastal Express Limited passes are available through the mail, at the MTD Transit Center in downtown Santa Barbara, and available for purchase from the bus driver. To purchase a pass through the mail, please use the pass order form.

The Coastal Express Limited pass is valid only on the Coastal Express Limited and cannot be used on VISTA service. The 30 day pass is valid for 30 days from the first time it is used.

Catching the Limited in Ventura
Coastal Express Limited customers can park at the Ventura County Government Center free of charge. The pick up location is located on Hill St and uses the same stop as VISTA buses.
