The Seaside Shuttle (Line 36) is detouring around the festival on Elm and Walnut. It will stop at the Amtrak station as usual, but the shuttle will be unable to access other stops southwest of Carpinteria Avenue. The closest open shuttle stops are at Carpinteria & 7th and at Carpinteria & Palm.

Beginning in mid-August, Caltrans road work in the Castillo Street/Highway101 undercrossing (near SBCC) will likely cause significant delays for buses and other road users. MTD Lines 5, 15x, & 16 may be detoured.
The road project is expected to be complete in mid-October.
MTD buses will be detoured and/or service will be suspended on many routes during the Fiesta Parade (between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM) on Friday, August 7.
