How to Ride
1 Look at the System Map to determine which line(s) you want to use.
2 Use our website or printed Schedule Guide to find your bus stops and learn what times the bus will be there.
3 Pay attention to directions and dates! Schedules change on weekends and holidays.
4 If you need more than one bus, ask the driver for a FREE transfer when you pay your fare.
5 Each bus has large signs showing its destination on the front and on the side next to the front door.
6 Buses stop wherever you see MTD signs. While waiting for the bus, please stand back from the edge of the curb.
7 Be sure you have the exact fare ready when you board. Drivers cannot give you change.
8 When you are about one block from your destination, sound the chime by pulling the overhead cord. Remain seated until the bus has come to a complete stop.

LOST & FOUND

Items turned in to lost and found at MTD will be forwarded to the Santa Barbara Police Department or the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department. Clothing and other items are held at MTD for 7 days. Perishables are not held. MTD is not responsible for any item lost, stolen or damaged on MTD buses or at bus stops.
