Bike & Bus has never been easier!

Now it's more convenient than ever to get around town. Bicyclists simply load their bikes on easy to use bicycle racks mounted securely to the front of all MTD buses. Easy to follow instructions are posted directly on the racks. There is no extra cost for using the Bike & Bus program. Make bike riding part of your every day routine, whether it be to school, work, or simply for recreation. Bike & Bus with MTD.
1
Have your bike ready to load as the bus approaches, remove water bottles and any other loose items.
2 Notify the driver that you will be loading your bike, proceed to the front of the bus. There are also instructions on the rack.
3 Pull down to release the folded bike rack and lift the bike onto the rack
4 Secure the bike into the appropriate labeled spot.
5 Raise the release and support arm over the front tire.
6 Board the bus. As the bus approaches your stop, simply tell the driver that you will be unloading your bicycle.
7 Raise the support arm off the tire and lift your bike out of the rack. Remember, step away from the bus into a safety area with your bike.
